“The Hidden Place Moms Go to Breathe”

Being a mom means locking yourself in the bathroom.

One — for silence… unless your toddler starts banging on the door or twisting the knob.
Two — so you can actually concentrate on the reason you even walked in there.
Three — because that tiny nightlight plugged into the wall gives you a soft glow of calm, a break from the overstimulation that follows you everywhere.

Sometimes that bathroom becomes the only place where you can scroll for a second, breathe for a moment, or simply exist without someone calling your name. Mama, you are not alone.

Motherhood is beautiful, but sometimes the responsibilities collide all at once, and you just need a moment to reset. So wherever you find that reset — even if it’s behind a locked door — make it intentional and purposeful.

Remind yourself:
You don’t have to be perfect.
You’re a great parent.
You show up even when you’re worn down.

And honestly? That’s half the battle — and you’re winning. 💛
